A company with order fulfillment and customer service operations locate in Dallas was having issues with high workforce turnover. The company wanted to determine their competitiveness within the Dallas MSA market to determine if they should modify their wage structure or relocate their operation.
We conducted a wage study with companies in the surrounding area within the same industry. The company’s existing wages per position were our point of comparison for analyzing the market data. After cross referencing industry and Bureau of Labor Statistics data it was determined that the company’s high turnover was attributed to the wages of certain positions that were not market competitive.
