INCENTIVE TIMELINE
Each economic assistance program has eligibility criteria, an application and compliance obligations during the active period of the program. The specifics of any one program are unique to that program. It is for this reason that the “when” benefits will be received varies.
In general, training and infrastructure grant programs tend to be front loaded cash benefits realized within a year or two of the initiation of the project. Tax related incentive programs typically have a longer ramping up of the program and thus are considered more of a downstream benefit.
